hunting methods

Big Five Rifle and Bow Hunting.

At Limcroma, the method follows the moment. We build each day around the species, the wind, and your preferred style—bowhunting or rifle hunting—so opportunities are close, clean, and ethical.

Bowhunting
Dedicated bow areas with quiet approaches, well-sited hides/blinds on water and travel lines, and realistic shot windows at close range. On the right ground, we add careful spot-and-stalk. Broadheads and arrows are checked on arrival.

Rifle Hunting
Unhurried walk-and-stalk with shooting sticks, using cover, light, and thermals to close distance. When heat or wind settles, we set selective ambushes. Zero is verified before we step off, and ranges are agreed ahead of time.

Our Approach
Professional Hunters read spoor, rotate blocks to avoid pressure, and call the pace—glass, track, or sit—as conditions change. The goal is the same across plains game and Big Five (by arrangement): disciplined fieldcraft, safe backstops, and shots that respect the animal and the bush.

Big Five Game Testimonials

Brian & Family

“After three unsuccessful leopard safaris with other outfitters, Limcroma Safaris was finally the outfitter that made it happen for me. Hannes and his staff are professional and goal driven individuals who take care of every little detail. My family and I shared many special memories and we look forward to many more!”

David

“I took all of the Big Five with Hannes and I’m still coming back. He runs a first class operation!”

Dale

“I have hunted with Limcroma twice. Both times I hunted with archery equipment. The accommodations, service, and food were first class. The PHs, hunting, and trophy quality were all as good as it gets for the bow hunter. I will be returning to Limcroma.”
